The Neville's Cross Community Association (NXCA) was formed in 2015 by a group of local residents who were keen to bring people together to discuss local issues and to develop more community activities. We encompass the whole Neville's Cross ward area, including Merryoaks, Crossgate Moor and Lowes Barns and comprise several hundred ordinary members led by a group of trustees. All trustees are unpaid volunteers, some of whom undertake specific committee roles, but all positions are formalised at our Annual General Meeting, which takes place each February.
The association meets quarterly in St John's Church in Neville's Cross and meetings are open to all residents. Meetings are well attended and we discuss a wide variety of local issues, including local initiatives and events. We often have guest speakers or presentations to share information with other residents.
Minutes of previous meetings and details of forthcoming ones can be found here. We welcome all attendees, so if you just want to know more about what's going on in your area, or want to do something more active to help in your community, please come and see how you can get involved.
